And this is why we have stuntmen. Eddie Griffin, promoting the new movie Redline, destroys this poor Enzo at what looks to be a makeshift autocross track at Irwindale Speedway in California. During practice, Eddie looks to be trying to take a right hander too fast, understeers, and corrects by dialing in more steering angle. As any racer would know, that’s a big nono, and the result was understeering well off the track into a tire barrier.
When interviewed after the incident, Griffin responds calmly, “You know undercover brother is good at Karate and all the rest of that, but… the brother can’t drive”. He’s so calm because it wasn’t his $1.5m Enzo that he just totaled. As for the poor owner? Let’s hope insurance covers this track event, as he says the car is totalled.

Update - Looks like the car belonged to Daniel Sadek, the producer of the film they were promoting.
